Friends, relatives and well-wishers will today gather to honour Senior Evangelist Oluseyi Oluwakemi Ogunyemi with a service of songs.
Mr Ogunyemi, a devoted christian and former Nigerian Newspapers distributor and promoter died recently at the early age of 49.
The interdenominational service of Songs ceremony will commence at about 7 pm and the occasion will hold at the deceased home church, Celestial Church of Christ( Elmorijah Parish), Unit 10, Juno Way, off Surrey Canal Road, London S.E 14 5RW on February 2, 2010.
All invitees and well-wishers have been urged to converge at the Church premises at about 7pm.
His final interment will take place on Wednesday February 3, 2010 at Eltham Crematorium, Crown Woods, Way, London SE 9 2AZ.
Friends, families and all close associates have been urged to converge at the family residence, 28, Standish House, Elford Close, Kidbrook, London SE3 9YP.
Funeral procession to the Cemetery will commence from the deceased residence at 1.00pm.
However, a condolence register has been opened by Onikepo in honour of the deceased and interested friends have been urged to visit a website to leave their sympathy messages.
Messages of condolence have been pouring in for the family since the opening of the register.
Akeem Bakare, a close friend of the deceased in his message wrote:

Lolade Osiniwo in her own message wrote:”My dearest Seyi, you have demonstrated through your remarkable and positive legacy that it is not how long we live rather how well – this your incredible legacy truly identified you and it will forever remain your testimony. Though, we love you but God loves you more – may your soul continues to remain in perfect peace – Amen. My prayer is for your all the love ones, in particular, Olamide, children,family (Shola, Idowu) and others. Concerning you, Oluseyi, much to reflect-on, little to write because l did not even know where to start – surely, you live-on.

Mr Ogunyemi has impacted so much into the life of many comers to the United Kingdom both old new through the promotion of Nigeria culture and lifestyle, through getting Nigeria Newspaers and Magazines to the nooks and corners of many cities across United Kingdom. Iyabo Popoola, (Alias Iyabo Onigbin) in her message while speaking to Emnnews .com described Mr Ogunyemi as a close associate saying his departure has left a big vacuun in Newspapers promotions in London city: ” I remember in the late eighties and early nineties when he used to appeal to Nigerians in my grocery store in Greenwich, asking them to purchase Nigeria Newspapers and Magazines, she recounted.
She claimed many Londoners today may not know what they have missed in the person of the deceased. ” We will all miss him”, she said.
